On today's date at approximately 3:00 P.M. Middleton Police along with the assistance of Farmington Police responded to a residence off Buttermilk Lane for a reported suicidal female who had discharged a firearm.
Middleton EMS was requested to stage.
Upon arrival, Officers made contact with an adult female who was cooperative and exited the residence at the request of police. Based on information gained at the scene, she was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation.
There were no injuries and police cleared the scene shortly after.
