Belmont Resident arrested on active warrants

On 10/08/2015 at approximately 3:00 P.M. members of the Middleton Police were conducting motor vehicle enforcement during school bus hours.  During these directed patrols, officer look for speeding violations and any unsafe traffic conditions during student travel times.

As a result of this patrol, Middleton Police stopped a vehicle on New Durham Road for excessive speed.  Upon identifying the operator:

Jered Reed (Age 38)
178 Middle Rt
Belmont, N.H.

we learned that he had two active arrest warrants for his arrest.  The first was for violation of a court order in a child support case.  Bail was set on this warrant by the court at $500.00 Cash.  The second warrant was a bench warrant issued by the Laconia Court for a Fraudulent Inspection Sticker.  Bail was set on that warrant at $500.00 PR.

Custody was transferred to the Belknap County Sheriff's Department who held the violation of court order warrant.  Because custody was transferred we do not have bail or court information.  All bail and court inquiries should be made to the Sheriff's Department.
