On 10/04/2014 at approximately 4:25 P.M. Middleton Police were called and told that a large stone wall was struck by a black pick up truck resulting in a large amount of damage on Route 153 in the area of the Town Beach. The caller stated that the black pick up truck was driving towards town.
Within 3 minutes of the call, a black pick up truck was located on Kings Highway. A witness to the crash was following the truck and began beeping and pointing to the truck when she saw the police.
The officer attempted to stop the truck and a very short low speed police pursuit began. The driver was stopped in the 200 block of Kings Highway. Speeds never exceeded 40 MPH.
Farmington Police and NH State Police responded to the area to assist.
As a result of the stop and an investigation:

New Durham, N.H.
was arrested and Charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Conduct After an Accident.
He was processed and released on $3000.00 PR Bail. He will be arraigned in the 7th Circuit Rochester on Tuesday October 21, 2014 at 8:00 a.m.
At this point this investigation is in the early stages. Additional Charges may be filed at a later date.
