This afternoon, a Strafford County Jury returned a verdict of Guilty on one count of Arson in the matter of State of New Hampshire V. Joshua Sargent.
Bail was set at $25,000 cash and if posted, the Defendant will be monitored by GPS.

was arrested on 01/22/2012 and charged with arson which occurred on 01/11/2012 at the 35 Fox Road Address.
Trial was held last week, and lasted four days. Jury Instructions were given today and the jury returned with their verdict, early afternoon.
We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the Strafford County Dispatch Center, multiple fire agencies, the Office of the State Fire Marshal's Office and the State's Electrical Inspectors Office who assisted in the investigation.
Sentencing will be scheduled for a later date.
