As a result of an investigation conducted by members of the Middleton Police Department,
Timothy R. Lane (Age 35)
246 New Durham Road
Middleton, N.H.
was arrested by virtue of an active arrest warrant on 08-25-2013 at approximately 8:15 P.M. Mr. Lane turned himself into police officials after learning that an arrest warrant had been issue.
Mr. Lane was charged with Criminal Mischief (Class B Felony) for damaging the vehicle of another.
In addition Lane was Charged with two counts of simple assault for punching the victim in the face and kicking him in the hip. Both Simple Assault charges are Class A Misdemeanors.
The offense occurred on 08/15/2013 during the afternoon hours at the residence on New Durham Road. The victim and Mr. Lane are not related or known to each other. The dispute was over a business transaction.
A Class B felony is punishable by up to 3.5 to 7 years in State Prison. A class A Misdemeanor is punishable by up to a year in the House of Corrections.
Mr. Lane was released on $1000.00 PR bail and will be arraigned in the 7th session of the Rochester Court on 09/17/2013 at 8:00 a.m.
