Strafford County Inmate Arrested and Charged with Stalking

On 05-30-2013 at approximately 5:23 P.M., Middleton Police received a complaint of Stalking from a Middleton resident.

During the course of an investigation Middleton Police confirmed that an active Domestic Violence Petition was in effect prohibiting:

Jeffrey Kinsley (Age 47)
LKA 4 Buttermilk Lane
Middleton, N.H.
 
from contacting his estranged girlfriend.
 
 As a result of this investigation, Middleton Police applied for and were granted an arrest warrant charging Mr. Kinsley with Stalking for sending four letters from the Strafford County Jail to the Middleton resident who he was prohibited from contacting.  He was arrested at the Strafford County Jail at 9:05 P.M.
 
Mr. Kinsley is charged with a seperate offense for each letter he sent.
 
Stalking is a Class A Misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in the County Jail.  He still remains incarcerated at the Strafford County Jail relating to an unrelated Class B felony charge of Criminal Threatening.
 
Mr. Kinsley will be arraigned in the 7th Circuit in Rochester on 05/31/2013 via video at 11:00 a.m.
 
At this point, the investigation is continuing and additional charges are anticipated.
