Today I released a brand new Android Application for the Middleton Police Department. Once it makes it way into the play store, I will post the link on facebook. You will have to delete your old Middleton NH Police Application as this is a totally new version.
When the Application opens for the first time, it may appear slow. This is because it is downloading the features on your device. I want people to be aware that we cannot and will not track you with this device. No location information is available to us.

Each button at the bottom of the screen produces a new function. If you hit the Home Button you will be able to get turn by turn directions, call the station or send a link to the program to a friend.
The Call Us tab will allow you to call 911, the Police Station or Dispatch. You simply select your choice and it will send the number to your dialing mode.
The Updates Button allows us to send Push Notifications to your Phone. If there is an emergency, road closure or storm information we think will benefit you will see it here.
The Voice Notes module brings you to a screen where you can record a message. You can play back the message and then send it to us by email. This saves typing an email.
The last button on the main screen opes the More Screen listing even more functions.
The Crime Cam will allow you to take a picture or select a picture you took of a crime or something you think we should see. The picture can them be email to us right from here.
The Events tab allows us to post Events for you to be aware of. Once installed you will see a sample in there which is the upcoming Dinner that the Rec Committee is putting on.
The WWW tab takes you to various web-links. The police and fire scanner is still under development to get it working in the app. Once I am there I will upload an automatic update.
The email is a form email that you can use to contact us at the police station.
The Police Blogs will take you to our Blog site where you can read all our postings.
The final Around Us will show you a map of the Town Buildings. In the future I will add local businesses that want to be listed.
I have submitted the same Application to the Iphone Store. This a longer approval process and can either be approved or denied. I will keep you updated with a link once we are on the Itunes store.
