A Large tree has fallen across Nichola Road in Middleton making the road impassable. We have notified Public Service and are awaiting a response. We hope to have them out to remove the tree before the school children arrive home.
In the event we have a delayed response from Public Service, we will notify the school system and have a code red alert phone called issued to the parents.
The plan if needed is to shelter the school children at the Old Town Hall until such time that the road is open. We will only activate this plan if needed. We will update here as soon as we have information.
